SOLEMN VISION Debuts Melodic Ripper "Unfinished Tapestry"

Listen to a new song from melodic death metal outfit Solemn Vision.

New York City-based progressive/melodic death dealers Solemn Vision signed to Black Lion Records for the release of their forthcoming album, details forthcoming. What we do know is that the band has a new single, "Unfinished Tapestry," and we're here to show you.

Building on a solid melodeath base, Solemn Vision keeps things interesting and is constantly moving on to the next part of the song. Vocalist Aaron Harris uses a combination of screams, growls and spoken word that breaks up the vocal delivery, as well as emphasizes certain lyrics.

Speaking about the new single, Solemn Vision said, "'Unfinished Tapestry' is a taste of what's to come from Solemn Vision's upcoming album. A modern take on classic melodic death metal, it is an emotionally devastating song that is as fast, heavy, and intense as it is crushingly melancholic."

The band added that its new relationship with Black Lion is an exciting step forward for the band.

"We're immensely excited to start this adventure with Black Lion Records. After eyeing them from afar through the melodic death metal scene and speaking with them personally, we can confidently say that they're a label that truly cares about the releases they put out, and are making all the right moves to push themselves, and their bands, forward."

Black Lion also spoke on the relationship.

"We are pleased to announce a long-overdue partnership finally, with Solemn Vision. Having known the guys and seen their hard work and intense dedication to their craft, it's a sight that's rare to behold today. The band is currently on the road for their Ashes Of The Sun Tour, and is ready to take over the scene with their new opus dropping this fall!"
