Vipassi – the instrumental prog powerhouse – is back with the revised lineup of drummer Daniel Presland (ex-Ne Obliviscaris, Black Lava, Virvum), guitarists Ben Boyle (Black Lava, Hadal Maw, AMDBL) and Benjamin Baret (Ne Obliviscaris, Maer), and fretless bassist Arran McSporran (Virvum, Seven7, Cosmitorium). The band is now streaming the first single "Phainesthai" from their sophomore record Lightless, due out January 26.
