Watch BAD OMENS & POPPY Play "V.A.N." Live For The First Time

They crushed it.

Bad Omens and Poppy kicked off their tour on January 27 at Columbiahalle in Berlin, Germany, and played their collaborative new single "V.A.N." for the first time ever. The song's industrial heaviness (and ensuing djenty breakdown) held up extremely well live, and Poppy nailed those vocals really well! Check out footage of the performance above and below.

The single is the first glimpse of what Bad Omens will be offering on their upcoming album Concrete Forever, also being called the Concrete Jungle OST. The project is an experimental extension of Bad Omens' last record The Death Of Peace Of Mind and the soundtrack to their Concrete Jungle comic book universe.

"That's a song that started just with the hook 'Violence against nature', and then after saving the project with the acronym and seeing it we realized it could be fun to think of 'VAN' as a name," said Bad Omens vocalist Noah Sebastian. "Thus the rabbit hole of ideas began that led us to decide to write lyrics from the perspective of an artificial intelligence gone rogue."

"V.A.N." comes alongside a music video directed by Garrett Nicholson and Poppy. Fans will get to experience "V.A.N" live for the first time on the European leg of Bad Omens' Concrete Forever tour with Poppy. The tour kicks off in Berlin on January 27 and international fans can tune in to livestreams of the sold out shows from Cologne, Germany on January 28 and 29 on VEEPS.
