Patrons of the Rock N Roll Pizza Bar in Simi Valley, CA got one hell of a surprise earlier this week when they were treated to a covers set led by Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins' son Shane Hawkins. The duo performed a handful of covers from classic bands like Van Halen, Thin Lizzy, AC/DC, and Mötley Crüe under Taylor Hawkins' old cover band name Chevy Metal.
The set also included legendary drummers Gregg Bissonette, Stephen Perkins of Jane's Addiction, and Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Ozzy Osbourne. Check out a boatload of footage above and below! The set ran as follows:
