Last we heard, Ghost is aiming to release a new album sometimes around April 2018. The band also recently unveiled Papa Emeritus Zero, which not only doesn't follow the usual numerical naming conventions of Papa Emerituses (Emeriti?), but also seems odd considering they rolled out a new Papa without having any new music or an album to show for it.
At least that's what we assumed. According to an Amazon listing that showed up and then was taken down pretty quickly, Ghost is releasing something called Ceremony And Devotion on December 1. The best guesses from fans right now is that the double disc is either a double live album, or it's one disc of a live album and then a second disc of outtakes and demos.
All we know for sure is that there's something called Ceremony And Devotion coming this December. Stay tuned!
