1981 – Paul Di'Anno quits Iron Maiden and the band needs a new frontman. Samson vocalist Bruce Dickinson decides to give it a shot and the rest is metal history. Dickinson tried out for the band with performances of "Killers", "Twilight Zone" and "Wrathchild", all three of which you can hear below.

One year after Dickinson joined the band, they put out the now-iconic The Number of the Beast. So yeah, dude clearly inspired some great things in Iron Maiden upon his joining!
