Ryan Butler, guitarist of Landmine Marathon and engineer for bands like Exhumed and Misery Index, is unfortunately battling a very rare liver disease called Wilson's Disease. According to the Mayo Clinic, Wilson's Disease "is a rare inherited disorder that causes copper to accumulate in your liver, brain and other vital organs. In people with Wilson's disease, copper isn't eliminated properly and instead accumulates, possibly to a life-threatening level. When diagnosed early, Wilson's disease is treatable, and many people with the disorder live normal lives."

Butler is currently on a liver transplant waiting list. In the meantime, a GoFundMe has been launched to offset medical debts and living expenses. You can donate here.
