So we're getting a new Amorphis album on April 19, but on April 17 we're getting Amorphis bourbon sauce. Seems like it'll be a tasty week!
So let's review; we've got AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Sepultura, and Municipal Waste all making beers, Amon Amarth making wine, Motorhead releasing everything in existence, and now Amorphis making bourbon sauce. I really, truly think we (y'know, whoever "we" are) should just open a restaurant that only prepares food with band-related items, or at least a bar that only serves band-related beer. How's that for a gimmick? I'll tell you; friggin' genius. According to Amorphis, the sauce tastes like-
Mildly hot and rich flavoured sauce made of apples, chipotle and bourbon. Use it in barbeque or on any food as a dip or condiment. On barbeque use low or medium temperature.
Okay, I want that now too, since this article has essentially become a Christmas list of all the alcohol I need to procure (and now food items, since drinking without eating is a bad idea) and that sauce sounds amazing. My two complaints are that they didn't name is something like "Amorphisauce" or "Saucemorphis" and that they don't offer a pre-order of the album with this sauce. I want metal and food-related products, damnit!
