Back in June, Sockweb announced that they would be dropping their debut full-length on the world August 6 which noticeably didn't happen. After a bout of silence since then, the band are offering both an explanation and an EP you can stream in full while you wait!
You've heard all the songs on Bullies are Mean, but at the very least you can own them all now and jam them on your way to work, while you secretly plot how to crap on your bosses' desk while they're at lunch, whatever. Plus it's a dollar for the entire EP, which is extra attractive to anyone who wants it. So what happened to the LP? Well according to Heavy Blog is Heavy:
Their debut album Werewolf should have seen a release by now, but a hard drive failure caused the irretrievable loss of the finished masters from Pig Destroyer‘s Scott Hull. Since then, Hull has mastered the album once again, and things are now finally back on track for the debut.
Well that sucks. At least the album can be saved! No word on when it'll be released though, so it's back to the waiting room for me.
