Have you ever seen Korn guitarist James "Munky" Shaffer and thought "man, I wanna smell like that guy"? Well now you can, sort of! Shaffer and EveryHuman have teamed up for the brand new Reference Times cologne that's launching today in Berlin, Germany at the Reference Studios exhibition space. So not exactly something you can run out and get at the store, but hey – maybe they'll sell it at some upcoming Korn shows.
Other than that, I don't have any great news for Korn fans at the moment. Korn recently booked some shows with System Of A Down but they're all sold out, and according to guitarist Brian "Head" Welch in an interview with the Everblack podcast new material isn't coming anytime super soon.
"Yeah, we got a lot of it [written]. We're still working," said Head during the December 2024 interview. "Dude, it's a trip 30 years later, man, to try to keep doing it. And we're very happy with what we got, but it's just gonna take a while. And I don't know how long — maybe next summer, maybe next year, the next winter, I don't know, but it's not gonna be soon."
So uh… I dunno man, go listen to Follow The Leader for the 10,000th time in your life.
