Former Fear Factory vocalist Burton C. Bell kicked off his solo career in 2024 with two original singles – "Anti-Droid" and "Technical Exorcism" (three if you're counting his cover of Rammstein's "Du Hast" in 2023). Bell has also played three solo shows covering his own material plus songs from Fear Factory, Ascension Of The Watchers, G//Z/R, and Head Of David.
So what's the plan for 2025? Bell stated in a recent interview with Reality Check TV that he's working on more new material plus "some tours" that he'll start to announce this month.
"I've got new music coming on the horizon under my own name, Burton C. Bell," he said. "I've got a great band behind me. I've got a new master today that I approved of. So I've just been releasing singles instead of an album — so I'm just releasing singles. And the next song is a banger, dude. It's a banger. People are gonna be stoked."
Bell continued: "I'm working on some tours. I do have a tour I'll be announcing in February — not in the States, unfortunately. But I'm gonna announce a tour in February."
Bell was also recently spotted hanging out with his former Fear Factory bandmate Christian Olde Wolbers. While we're certainly not expecting there to be some sort of collaboration between the two, can you imagine? As for who he'll have in his band for the tour, it's unclear. Bell's band in 2024 was guitarist Henrik Linde (The Vitals, Dren), drummer Ryan Junior Kittlitz (All Hail The Yeti, The Acid Helps), bassist Tony Baumeister (ÆGES), and Stewart Cararas.
