The GRAMMYs are happening tonight, February 2 and there are quite a few rock and metal artists up for awards!

From the packed Best Metal Performance category to Pearl Jam duking it across the Best Rock Album and Best Rock Song categories, to Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross going for a Best Score Soundtrack For Visual Media award and Alpha Wolf being up for a Best Boxed Or Special Limited Edition Package award, here's who was contending for what.

Long story short now that the winners are in for all the relevant categories, I gotta say – it was a little grim. The Beatles won for Best Rock Performance for a song that was pieced together from some demos, Idles and Pearl Jam lost three times, and Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross lost twice.
