Time and time again, we have called Dave Grohl the coolest motherfucker in the music industry, whether he's topping off a fan's beer from the stage, waving the flag for real music or taking some jabs from late Gwar frontman Oderus Uruguns in stride, or paying homage to Dio with a new track, he always seems to absolutely kill it.
Grohl is in the midst of a promo push for the new Foo Fighters album and accompanying HBO series, Sonic Highways and with this past weekend's episode focusing on Nashville, much like with the previous two weeks, the fighters of foo played an intimate Nashville show. Since it was on Halloween, they all decided to don the corpse paint and cover some Black Sabbath, as you do on Halloween. Grohl even donned a Voivoid shirt for extra effect. Much like during their Letterman residency, they were joined by Zac Brown for the cover:
