So I finally saw Mad Max: Fury Road last week, and believe the hype. Don't walk… run and go see it in a theater right away. My jaw was dropped the entire time. While Immortan Joe was the coolest villan to me, the most metal character was of course the flamethrower guitar player, Doof Warrior. In case you need a refresher, he's this guy:
We've profiled the actor who played Doof before, and the dude is clearly catching on in popularity, because a parody Twitter account has been launched with such gems as:
Kids, the topic for this guitar lesson is NOT PRESSING THE FLAMETHROWER LEVER
I'm not wasting precious water extinguishing your sorry asses

Follow him @coma_doof.
Also, you can grab that insanely cool Doof/Eddie from Iron Maiden mash up t-shirt over at Fright Rags.
And, while we're on the topic of the music of Mad Max, our sister site Gear Gods has a great piece posted about how all the instruments in the movie were made.
[Thanks for the tip, Zena T.].
