Stream ABBATH's Killer Debut Solo Record

Here's hoping it's a grim and frostbitten day.

Here's hoping it's a grim and frostbitten day.

Abbath will be releasing his debut self-titled solo record on January 22 via Season of Mist and pretty much everything we assumed about the release is true. Mostly that it's heavy as hell and it's the black metal/black n' roll record you've all been waiting for! Seriously, this album rips front to back and it sets the bar pretty high for 2016.

It's worth noting that this stream includes the re-working of Immortal's "Nebular Ravens Winter " from the group's 1997 Blizzard Beasts. That track is only available in the box set version of the CD, which you should probably check out as well because it's badass.

Also of note is that this is the only Abbath record that'll feature drummer Creature, who quit after the release was laid to tape. Anyway, time to jam!
