Ghost Bath made a whole lot of waves in 2014 with its debut full-length record Funeral. The band was mysterious and claimed to be from China, though it eventually turned out they were from North Dakota. Though still, I feel like black metal is equally unlikely to arise from either one of those places.
In 2015, the band made a major impact with its Moonlover record, and now Nuclear Blast has signed them! The band will re-release the album with a bonus track called "Ascension" sometime later this year, and has dropped a music video for "Golden Number" as well, which is my favorite song from the record.
