THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN Frontman Picks Band's 15 Most Important Songs

Where does "43% Burnt" rank?

Where does "43% Burnt" rank?

It must be difficult for a musician to rank their catalogue. How could you pick between your babies? But, we've seen it done before. Jonathan Davis ranked Korn's discography and Corey Taylor ranked Slipknot's discography, easy peasy.

The Dillinger Escape Plan's frontman, Greg Puciato, decided to take a different route, focusing instead of the 15 most important songs in the band's catalogue. Here's the fifteen tracks he sent to Team Rock:

  1. THE MULLET BURDEN (Under The Running Board, 1998)
  2. 43% BURNT(Calculating Infinity, 1999)
  3. WHEN GOOD DOGS DO BAD THINGS (Irony Is A Dead Scene, 2002)
  4. DAMAGED I/DAMAGED II (Black On Black, 2002)
  5. BABY’S FIRST COFFIN (Miss Machine, 2004)
  6. PANASONIC YOUTH (Miss Machine, 2004)
  7. SUNSHINE THE WEREWOLF (Miss Machine, 2004)
  8. UNRETROFIED (Miss Machine, 2004)
  9. LURCH (Ire Works, 2007)
  10. SICK ON SUNDAY (Ire Works, 2007)
  11. MILK LIZARD (Ire Works, 2007)
  12. FAREWELL, MONA LISA (Option Paralysis, 2010)
  13. WIDOWER (Option Paralysis, 2010)
  14. ROOM FULL OF EYES (Option Paralysis, 2010)
  15. ONE OF US IS THE KILLER (One Of Us Is The Killer, 2013)

Greg's picks are certainly interesting. For me, personally, I think 43% Burnt or Sunshine the Werewolf is their most important song, but that's me! I'm not in the band. Greg explains the reasoning for all of his picks in great detail over at TeamRock, check it out.
