CONVERGE Frontman Contributed Vocals To Industrial Act MSTRKRFT's New Album

MSTRKRFT hasn't put out an album in five years, though that changed last week with its album Operator. While I haven't gotten the chance the listen to the album just yet, I have heard the song "Go On Without Me" about 100 times since then. Why? Because it's an industrial raver that's got Converge frontman Jacob Bannon on it!

Sure, it's no new Converge song, but it's Bannon vocals over a subdued-yet-menacing electronica beat. What's not to love? Though let's be real here for a second – if this is your first foray into badass metal vocalists overtop electronica, you've been missing out. Check out Pendulum's stuff too, who have a song with In Flames (among others).

"Umbra Vitae aptly represents an approach to extreme metal that isn't afraid to play by feeling and emotion."
