Megadeth put out its first record in 1985, though Dave Mustaine was with Panic and Metallica in the early 1980s. What I'm getting at is that in a few years, Mustaine will have been at it 40 years. That's 40 years on the road, 40 years writing and playing metal, and 40 years of basically non-stop insanity.
So will it ever be time to pack it in? According to the man himself, that time may come after two more Megadeth records, or quite a few extra years of touring.

Dude's 54 right now, so retirement at 60 years old (or thereabouts) is a pretty respectable. I guess we'll see, right?
