11 Call Reveals Needles Found In Paul Gray of SLIPKNOT's Hotel Room" title="slipknot-paul-gray-unmasked" width="225" height="300" class="alignright size-medium wp-image-8750" />Things are not looking good here. When reports were initially coming in of Slipknot bassist Paul Gray's death on Monday, one newspaper cited a source at the scene who claimed it was in fact of an overdose. A few days ago, Metal Insider said initial toxicology reports. On Tuesday, initial toxicology reports were inconclusive as to Paul's cause of death, however a thorough examination takes between 4 to 6 weeks.
Now, a leaked 911 phone call obtained by TMZ looks to confirm the Examiner's sources of an overdose. The person phoning in Paul's death cited seeing a hypodermic needle and a bottle of pills were found in the room with Paul at the time of his death. It's no secret that he struggled with drug addiction the last few years, speaking publicly about his dependence on harder drugs. This is truly a sad story, and the person I feel the most for is his fiancee and his unborn child.
