As you may or may not have heard, Blink-182 released its first album in 5 years this year. The album, California, is the band's first with Alkaline Trio frontman Matt Skiba, and is overall a pretty big deal (for what it's worth, the album is spotty and I wouldn't recommend it). So what better place to garner new fans than a Norwegian metal festival?
On June 22 through 24, 2017, Tons Of Rock will be held in Halden, Norway, and will seriously see performances by Blink-182, Emperor, Sabaton, Candlemass, and more. The only band that's sort of in the same general area of music as Blink-182 is Airborne, and that's stretching it… so what the hell?
Blink-182 will be playing the June 22 dates alongside their peers Candlemass. I wonder what kind of crowd is going to be at the festival that day?
