ULVER's New Track "Nemoralia" Is Everything You Loved About 2000s ULVER

It's like Ulver went right back to the 1980s, and took Perdition City with them.

Ulver will be releasing its first proper, non-collaborative, fully-studio album in six years this year, and it may very well be great. The album is titled The Assassination of Julius Caesar, it's out April 7 via Ulver's own House Of Mythology Records, and it reminds me a lot of Ulver's earlier works like Perdition City and Shadows Of The Sun, though with a bit of that upbeat Depeche Mode-esque flavor you'd find on songs like "February MMX."

Pluss, with Ghost being as popular as Ghost is right now, Ulver's new track seems to fit right in with that sort of throwback sound (though still very identifiable as Ulver). Pre-order The Assassination of Julius Caesar here.
