Kid Rock's politicking is kicking into high gear. What started out as a mere promotional tactic is looking more and more serious, despite Rock not officially filing any paperwork about running for Senate in Michigan as his two songs promoting that fact claimed.
Last week, at a gig in Grand Rapids, MI, Rock gave what seemed like a stump speech with a lot of generalities about how he's not PC and how he doesn't feel like "we" should paying taxes to support deadbeats. Today, he offered a new, much longer, statement on his Facebook page and the best part is at the very very end.

Nobody ever thought you didn't like black people, Kid. But saying something like this always raises a red flag, like somebody, like say Trump's lawyer saying "I'm not racist, I have black friends."
But I don't think Rock is a racist, even though he has released some questionable merch in the past.
