This is certainly a bummer. We were just informed that one of the acts set to perform at our co-sponsored CMJ Showcase tonight, Baptized in Blood were forced to drop off after problems at the US/Canada border. They were denied entry into our wonderful country due to some labor laws. This is a bummer as I was really looking forward to checking these guys out.
But there are still five incredible acts that are definitely playing the show tonight: A Life Once Lost, Car Bomb, This Or The Apocalypse and Last Chance To Reason. If you are still debating on if you should go or not, check out Axl Rosenberg's column detailing the support acts (who doesn't love ALOL already). This will be the best bang for your buck this week!
Also, comedian Big Jay Oakerson will be MCing the event all night doing some metal-related stand up. It's going to be a fun night. We will be giving away stickers. STICKERS!! I know! Be there!
