As you are reading this we are boarding a plane to Austin, TX to begin a few days of drunken debauchery and perhaps even check out some metal shows. Of course, we are talking about South By SouthWest. Frank and I are going to cover the shit out of it. We will be taping a full-on news piece on the scene down there (something shorter than our NAMM special but similar in style) and return with a fun lil report. Also, we will be taking some Samson Zoom Q3s to shoot a ton of live footage which we will try to upload while we're there if we find a steady connection.
And, seeing as though this is the mobile age we will both be tweeting from @metalinjection. I have forced Frank to accept Twitter as a part of his life for the next few days and both of us will be providing updates on what killer bands we're seeing and what corners we are vomitting in.
So keep checking back to live vicariously through our expedition. And, just because we are out of town don't think there won't be updates. We have posts scheduled to go up throughout the next few days, and if there are any breaking stories our other writers will surely post something. Like I mentioned previously, we will be uploading live footage constantly (internet connection permitting).
