Abhorrent, featuring drummer Lyle Cooper (ex-The Faceless, Absvrdist), guitarist Marlon Friday (Absvrdist, Crumbling Mirth), Erlend Caspersen (Spawn of Possession, ex-Deeds of Flesh) and vocalist Nick Browntown (Absvrdist), just dropped its debut album Intransigence via Willowtip Records, in case you were wondering what that sickening feeling in the pit of your stomach was.
Not only does the record stand just fine on its own awesome merit, but it also features vocal guest spots from The Black Dahlia Murder's Trevor Strnad on "The Elegance of Asymmetry" and Mephistopheles vocalist Matt Chalk on "A Lightness of Mind." Oh, and shredding guitar solos from Serocs' Antonia Freyre "Ill-Conceived" and Inferi's Malcolm Pugh on "Ifrit." Enjoy!
