Let's start the week right…with a shit ton of new music. Yes, shit ton is a valid measurement! Today, we have new tracks from Cannibal Corpse, Tenacious D, 3 Inches of Blood and Terrorizer. Let's begin, shall we?
Let's kick it off with a new song stream from the mighty Cannibal Corpse. You can hear the track “Scourge of Iron” over at Revolver Magazine, and it is another crushing Corpse tune. These guys know how to do it, and they do it really well. Torture their new album will melt faces when it's released on March 13th via Metal Blade.
I loved the Tenacious D movie, The Pick of Destiny but it seems a lot of people didn't. The movie bombed at the box office, and the D went away for a while, but now are getting ready to come back with a new album, Rize Of the Fenix. I do have to say, in the interim, I got really sick of Jack Black. OVER IT. But just because the D have had such a positive influence on my life, I will give this record a shot. 3 Inches of Blood will release a new album, Long Live Heavy Metal in March and the band has debuted a new track, "Leather Lord" over at Rock Hard magazine's website. It sounds EXACTLY as you would expect a 3IOB track to sound, which is to say AWESOME. Can't wait to hear the whole thing.
Finally, let's grind it up with new music from the legendary Terrorizer. The band is currently streaming the title track of their forthcoming release, Hordes of Zombies over at MetalSucks. I dare you to hit play and not find yourself uncontrollably head banging to this tune.
