August Burns Red spent the early part of 2011 writing and recording their upcoming release, Leveler. The band recorded at Audiohammer Studios with our buddy Jason Suecof, and if the track they just released is any indication, we are in for a treat. I feel ABR always delivered the goods, but this new recording feels like a huge step up. It features the metalcore meaty riffs they are known for, but also some really awesome acoustic passages in the track that are seamless. Check out the track, "Internal Cannon":
