I'm getting ready to head out to the Big 4 and do a live-snark with Axl of Metalsucks, but before I go, here is a collection of new music that has surfaced the last few days:
Opeth played two new songs on Swedish morning show Nyhetsmorgon and played two new songs off their stellar upcoming release, Heritage (our review here). Here is the band peforming "Pyre":
Here they are playing "Nepenthe"
Jeff Tuttle of the Dillinger Escape Plan likes to keep busy. Besides shredding in Dillinger Escape Plan, he lends his vocal stylings to the group Old Gods, who's new self-titled album is streaming over at BandCamp. Definitely worth a listen!
Put down those UNO cards because it's time to hear a new Rose Funeral track. "Gates of Punishment", the title track off their next release is now streaming on Stereokiller.com. The album comes out September 27th on Metal Blade.
Red Fang have posted a b-side titled "Black Hole" on their Facebook page (in exchange for a like, natch)
If you want to get your ears blown out with full-on ANGER, check out the stunning new Fuck The Facts track, "A Coward's Existance" streaming on Bandcamp. It comes off the band's next LP, Die Miserable out on October 11th.
