Between The Buried And Me frontman Tommy Rogers has been putting out solo albums under the name Thomas Giles since 2011, or 2004 if you want to count the Giles release on Victory Records. Thomas Giles' debut album Pulse was a pretty mathy, coherent album, while his 2014 followup Modern Noise didn't really make a whole lot of sense to me in all its disjointedness.
Now we've got Velcro Kid on our hands and the single "Strangers In A Paranoid Mind" has left me to believe that I have no idea what to expect. Will the whole thing be electronics-based industrial? Or is it just this track in particular? At the very least we know that Devin Townsend has a guest spot on the song "Gazer," so that's cool!
Velcro Kid comes out November 4, and you can pre-order it here.
