Last we heard from Clutch drummer Jean-Paul Gaster, the band was planning on hitting the studio this fall or winter for a new album.
That timeline seems to be working out, as the band has begun teasing new material from their recent writing sessions. As with pretty much everything else Clutch has ever done, it sounds awesome.
"We're gonna try to maybe do another session in January and then another one right before we record."
"We're doing a pre-production session this week. We'll do another one probably in January. And then again, right before we record, hopefully in March."
New Clutch is always good news.
They still need a little work, but there are 10 songs.
