Crowbar's upcoming album The Serpent Only Lies is shaping up to be heavier than expected. Which is saying something, considering I always expect Crowbar to be heavy. The band's new track "Plasmic And Pure" is six-ish minutes of pure, unadulterated heaviness, with a really natural mix. Seriously, that mix is just massive, and presents every instrument in its entirety without much obstruction.
