Ripple Music has been KILLING it in 2016. Their latest offering, debuting exclusively with yours truly, A Bend Through Space And Time is an absolutely monster of an album, one that touches on every side of the rock and roll continuum and suggests that there are great things to come from this band. An album that is at once fun, rebellious and bombastic A Bend Through Space And Time is a record that you are going to want to come back to time and time again. This is the sort of band who understand the place of rock and roll in 2016 and though there music does feature a few throwbacks and references to times gone by (Including a killer tribute to Lemmy!) by and large Devil To Pay keep it real on their latest unholy offering.
Of the new record, singer/guitarist Steve Janiak said
“Production-wise and performance-wise, I think we exceeded our expectations with A Bend Through Space and Time as it expands on the metaphysical themes from the last record, but our songwriting has also evolved even further. We’re really proud of this record.”
Suffice to say – this is an exciting overall statement from these Indianapolis rock and rollers and one that demands multiple listens to properly appreciate. Nevertheless, it has enough hooks to appeal from even the first spin. A Bend Through Space And Time is the sort of album that reminds us why we all fell in love with this sort of music in the first place and the burning passion behind the record is sure to keep people coming back for more. It's the same fire that ignites all of our favorite Ripple Music releases and has really come to define what this band is all about.
