What would've happened if Ghost just kept going with their Opus Eponymous sound? It'd probably sound a lot like this debut King Gorm record.
Between the driving Hammond organ and phased out bass, sandwiched between screaming guitars, are the unmistakable and catchy-as-hell vocals of Francis Roberts (Old Man Wizard, ex-Dread Crew of Oddwood) heading up the band's charge into the past. King Gorm is a record not to be missed, and one to be blasted at full volume. Preferably on vinyl or tape… or 8-track.
