You can finally hear the new extra-proggy Opeth album!

After a few delays, you finally have a chance to hear the new Opeth album, Pale Communion.

The album is streaming in full at Pitchfork Advance. (UK readers can stream it here.)

If you like what you hear, you can pre-order the album, which comes out next Tuesday, August 26th, on Amazon.com for only $9.99.

Not to brag, but we heard the album all the way back in March, where fellow MI scribe Greg Kennelty penned a track-by-track breakdown of the album and we loved it then. To be fair, the album wasn't mastered or sequenced at the time, so now you can compare Greg's notes to the final album mix.

I also had the chance to interview Opeth back in March about the record and their less-death-metal-more-prog approach as of late. If you missed that interview, you can watch it below.
