Recent Relapse Records signee, Gatecreeper, have unveiled the first track from their debut album. The Arizona-based Death Metal group has been building a solid discography of splits and an EP over the last few years. The blossoming discography was enough to catch the attention of Relapse who signed the group a couple months back. This week, the quartet announced the name of their impending album and shared a song to build the excitement for what is sure to be a promising debut.
Sonoran Depravation will be released on October 7 and to ring in the news they shared the album's opening track, "Craving Flesh." The track is three and a half minutes of raucous death metal that opens on an absolutely tempestuous groove before dropping into some classic Death Metal motifs that would make the most entrenched fan bang their heads.
