Pig Destroyer have revealed another fantastic new track from their forthcoming album, Book Burner and it's my favorite track off the album. Head over to Pitchfork to hear "The Diplomat" and at over three minutes in length, it is one of the longest tracks on the album. Apparently, the opening riff was originally intended for guitarist Scott Hull's other project, Agoraphobic Nosebleed but he made it work for PxDx.
We would be hard-pressed not to remind you that Pig Destroyer is headlining our CMJ showcase (presented along with our bros in MetalSucks and 1000Knives). The band will be joined by KEN Mode, Early Graves and Encrust. It all goes down Oct. 18th at Public Assembly in Brooklyn, NY. Tickets are available here.
