Another solid band falls victim to 2016, but what else is this year but a constant kick to the teeth? This time it's Goes Cube, who recently announced its new album Shadows Swallowed The Flood. The album is the band's first since its 2011 album In Tides And Drifts, and it'll also unfortunately be the band's last.
Not that that's exactly news – we've known since April. It just sucks because the music we've heard off the record is so damn good that it's shame to see them go. You can check out the entire brakup statement here via Decibel, and then check out "Strawmen" below via Brooklyn Vegan.
Oh, and Shadows Swallowed The Flood is out October 21. Pre-order it here.
