Halestorm is one of those bands that doesn't seem to draw much animosity from the heavier crowd, despite being a mainstream metal band. Though I think it's hard to hate them, even if only because Lzzy Hale is such a goddamn good vocalist.
A fine, fine example of her vocal talent is the below cover of Metallica's "Ride The Lightning." The band plays the song just fine and without many surprises, though Hale's vocals put the whole thing over the top.
