Aerosol was originally the band featuring frequent Cynic collaborator John Hiler, Cynic drummer Sean Reinert, and engineer Matt Brownlie. The band carried on after Reinert suddenly passed away in 2020, recruiting both Dirk Verbeuren (Megadeth, ex-Soilwork) and Mike Heller (Fear Factory) to bring the project home.
You can now stream their debut album Murmurations below, which features some of the final drum parts Reinert ever recorded. Aerosol has also stated they'll be donating a portion of all proceeds to The Trevor Project in Reinert's name.
