The Obsessed, who is fronted by Scott "Wino" Weinrich of Saint Vitus, Wino, and Shrinebuilder fame, reunited earlier this year after sort of fading out after a reunion in 2011. Prior to that, the band broke up in 1995 shortly after its final album The Church Within, which was released in 1994.
Now, for the first time since then, The Obsessed has recorded material available! Granted, it's just a rendition/re-recording of the band's 1983 track "Sodden Jackyl," but still! Wino and the band sound absolutely fantastic, and it'll be really interesting to hear what The Obsessed has to offer with its upcoming album Sacred.
