Not quite the hotbed for melodic death metal bands with a penchant for forward-thinking writing, but Iapetus hails from Long Island and its music is damn good. The band is premiering its new, 10+ minute song "Lachrymae Rerum" through us today, and it's an adventure, but in a good way! Like, "hit play with a good pair of headphones and get lost in well-written melodeath"-type of adventure.
