Scale The Summit axeman Chris Letchford will be releasing History Of Robots under the name Islnds come September 21. The effort will be largely instrumental, save for two tracks with The Reign Of Kindo frontman and ex-Tesseract frontman Ashe O'Hara.
The debut track from the album was pretty good, as was the O'Hara track, but the album's closer "controllr" really just didn't stick to me at all. The song timidly meanders around for two minutes, and then when it finally seems to be gaining any sort of momentum, just ends.
