There's something inherently haunting about Laura Pleasants' voice mixed in with super heavy music and I can't quite put my finger on why. The juxtaposition of the two just really work together and I've never really noticed it until I heard this song… which means they've obviously done something right here, since I'm thinking this deep about it. It's a pretty cool song; I'm not exploding into excitement over it, but I can definitely see this album being on my rotation for a little bit in the summer whilst driving- it's those kind of jams.
