John Carpenter, the guy behind films like Halloween, Escape From New York, They Live and about twenty-seven truckloads of other films, is dropping his debut solo album Lost Themes on February 3 via Sacred Bones Records. It isn't exactly "heavy" in the sense that it's in Drop Q and has a breakdown at -10 BPM, but there's this very ominous and scary quality to it that really grabbed me and won't let go.
