…and I'm not talking about a fart.
It's been a while since we've seen Battlecross. They seemed to be everywhere about two years ago, but then went into hiding to record a new album. I saw them open for Crowbar last night, and they continue to develop their tight as hell live show. These guys know to get the crowd moving to the point that I remember at GWARBQ a few years back, Pig Destroyer frontman JR Hayes mentioned to me how impressed he was with their live show… keeping in mind that Pig Destroyer had perhaps the most insane live show that day.
The band played their new track "Spoiled" last night, and it fits in with their mix of thrash meets melodic death perfectly. Another winner from these guys…
The band's new album, Rise to Power comes out Aug. 21 on Metal Blade.
