The much anticipated album from Jason Newsted's aptly named band Newsted is finally available for streaming! Come take a listen and get thrashed!

Newsted's Heavy Metal Music is pretty well titled, given the music you're about to hear… or are currently hearing, depending on when you hit play in correlation with this sentence. The bottom line is that Heavy Metal Music is a solid thrasher that goes back to the "good ol' days" of classic metal. Whether that be your jams or not is entirely up to you, but it's a refreshing listen given how many bands are out there trying to do what Newsted is doing and pretty much not doing that.
If you're looking for instant gratification from the album, put on the sludge metal masterpiece "Nocturnus," which is just heavy as balls! Enjoy!
