Old Man Gloom, better known as that band that wrote a fake album to give the media and then released a double album without announcing it (which pissed off a lot of people but was actually hilarious), now has a live album coming out! It's called Old Man Gloom: Mickey Rookey Live At London and will be out February 19. We're pretty sure it's one disc, and we've been told it's a live album… but we'll see.
I'll let the band explain why it's called that below.
“Old Man Gloom: Mickey Rookey Live At London is the name of our new live album. You know, the one I’ve been posting about relentlessly. The name comes from Santos being drunk in Europe, and trying to say the name Mickey Rooney, and Mickey Rourke simultaneously, and the other members laughing at his dumbness. Please tell us about something dumb you’ve said when you were drunk, or how drunk you’ll need to be to buy this live album. Beach Ball. Beeeeeeach Ball. Yeah!”
Right. Here's a song from the effort which was recorded on April 3, 2014 in London.
