After performing with the likes of Machine Head and Soulfly, guitarist Logan Mader (he's the second from the left with the dreds) decided it was time to move behind the board. In the last decade, he has produced seminal releases from Gojira, Periphery, Devil You Know and others.
But now, Logan is ready to get back up on stage again with his new project Once Human. If I didn't read the press released, I would've assumed Once Human were Swedish because it certainly sounds like melo-death, but they are Bay Area heavy metal fronted by vocalist Lauren Hart who reminds me a lot of Angela Gassow in her delivery and newcomers Damn Rainauld on bass, and Ralph Alexander on drums.
