Orbs, the group consisting of bassist Dan Briggs from Between the Buried and Me, guitarist Adam Fisher of Fear Before the March of Flames and keyboardist Ashley Ellyllon, formerly of Abigail Williams and Cradle of Filth, has been on quite a break! The group released their debut album Asleep Next to Science in 2010 and pretty much fell silent afterward. Obviously the members of the group have major commitments outside Orbs, but when would we get our next fix of killer space rock?
Right now! The group dropped their brand new 7" titled These People are Animals on October 20 and are currently streaming the two new songs via their Bandcamp.
Outside the 7", the band are planning to release a new album in 2015 titled Past Life Regression. According to a post on the group's Facebook, the two songs off These People are Animals don't seem like they'll be on the full length in 2015.
